Ruth Ansel at Moderna museet in Stockholm

For two days, the 16th and 17th of May, Ruth Ansel, Barbara Kruger among others, take part in an event called Hall of Femmes Design Talks at Moderna museet in Stockholm, Sweden. A great event created by the Hall of femmes.

Ruth Ansel has been the art director of magazines such as Harper's Bazaar, New York Times Magazine, Vogue and Vanity Fair. Working with photographers such as Irving Penn, Bruce Weber and Richard Avedon to name but a few. Being a woman who has always seemed to know what she wanted and who truly loves her work, she surely is inspiring. Here are some photographs of Ruth Ansel at work and of her most famous works.

If you want to see some of the brilliant artwork by Barbara Kruger who is also a part of the great Hall of Femme Design Talks,  click here

More by Kari Herer - her beautiful work leaves me wanting more

More beautiful work by Kari Herer. In Stockholm the magnolias are in full bloom and they are just amazingly beautiful. Here is some artwork that will help you to remember them during the rest of the year. I know I've posted a lot by Kari Herer and more is to come.

Eddie Izzard on "Looking cool" - Prepare to laugh

One of my absolute favourite commedians. And speaking on the subject I love the most. Fashion and dress. This is hilarious

For more on Eddie Izzard just search for his work on You Tube. It's a good way not to get any work done..  Eddie Izzard is just so brilliant and addictive.

A really good idea!

"Why don't you paint a map of the world on all four walls of your boys' nursery so they won't grow up with a provincial point of view?" -Diana Vreeland, 1936
